We have been awarded a grant for a One Town reading program! We are calling our program Pembroke Reads. The book selected is "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Mortenson. This title is perfect-it comes in versions fro adults, teens and children! We will have it in audio and large print too. There will be speakers, movies, book discussions and more to come. Dates will be posted soon. The goal is to have everyone talking about the same book!


There are many ways to help the people of Haiti. CNN has links to agencies helping. You can even text to the American Red Cross and it will be billed to your cell acount.


The Winter Newsletter is now on the News page. We are working on a way to email interested folks, hopefully we will have that in place soon!


We have Roger Anttila's books for sale!

Mayflower Grove ($15), Bryantville ($20), and My Short Stories of Pembroke ($10)! $5.00 of each book sale benefits the library.

This December, 15% MORE items were borrowed in Pembroke than last December. Everyone is talking about the value of libraries.

Reserve our passes at museum pass from home. If you are looking for family fun at reasonable prices, many locations an easy drive or even a train ride away , nothing beats our discounted passes provided for you by the Friends of the Pembroke Public Library.

Monday - Thursday : 10 am - 8 pm
Friday & Saturday : 10 am - 5 pm
Sundays : 12 pm - 4 pm (October to May)

Closed all legal Holidays
