Overdue fines are for library items returned past their due dates. The following is a listing of our loan periods, fines and fines cap: 

There is a $25.00 cap per patron card for overdue fines only. Lost items and damaged item assessments must be paid in full. All fine revenues go towards purchasing new materials.

Monday - Thursday 10 am - 8 pm
Friday & Saturday 10 am - 5 pm
Sunday 12 pm - 4 pm from October to May

Directions to the Library
From the West: From Rte 44 take Rte 105 to Rte 106. Follow Rte 106 to Rte 36 (on the left a little past the Rte 58 intersection in Halifax). Take a left onto Rte 36 and follow into Pembroke Center where it ends at the junction with Rte 14. Go straight through the traffic light onto Rte 14. The library is set back on the right. The driveway is in between the Senior Center and the Pembroke Boys and Girls Club.

From the North: Take exit 12 off Rte 3. Make a left off the ramp onto Rte 139 toward Hanover. Take a left onto Rte 53 South. Take a right onto Rte 14. The library is in the center of town beyond the Police Station and Town Hall. The driveway is on the left between the Senior Center and the Pembroke Boys and Girls Club.

From the South: Take exit 10 off Rte 3. Make a left off the ramp. At the lights turn right onto Rte 53. Take a left onto Rte 14. The library is in the center of town beyond the Police Station and Town Hall. The driveway is on the left between the Senior Center and the Pembroke Boys and Girls Club.
